This one’s not an original 1965 Mosrite Ventures II but built by me with some original parts some years ago. I was lucky enough to buy some NOS parts from Andy Moseley in 2004, i.e. an original left over neck (never installed before, made Aug 20, 1965, #0001) and an original NOS tremolo/vibrato for a generation 2 slab bodied Ventures II. All I had to do is to connect those parts with a piece of nitro sunburst lacquered basswood and to wind two pickups and to carve a pickguard… She’s gone, I had to swap her for a Mosrite that otherwise would have been sold in pieces – more info soon (I hope).
